Ok thanks was just concerned as never had one before only ever had xrays can you eat or drink before
It depends. It isn’t dangerous if you eat before but it may disrupt the results. The doctor will let you know what you need to do.

Ok thank you and with the 10 minute thing how many times a day do you do it
Just once. The idea is to gain control of the worry without shutting it down completely. If you try to block out the worry it only comes back stronger so you give it 10 minutes so that it can be heard but no more.

Just keep telling yourself that you’re not thinking about it right now. You’ll think about it tomorrow at worry time. It’s takes practice but it is very effective. Every time that thought pops up just tell yourself that you’ll worry about it later. Then move on to something else.

I don’t know what to do
Just calm down. Take some breaths, you’re ok. If your doctor gave you medicine for anxiety now may the time to take one. You just need to calm down. You’ve gotten through this fear before and you can do it again.

Vomiting happens when the adrenaline gets so high that it messes up your stomach. It can happen in times of great stress.

Can I ask what tablets did they give you?

Do you think it might be something serious because I’m scared and don’t want it to be something serious

No, it’s nothing serious. Just anxiety again. Why don’t you do something to occupy your mind maybe play a game or go for a walk. Just do something to calm down and take your mind off. You’ll be ok.

I know because it has been anxiety the entire time. You are having the classic symptoms.

It’s all anxiety. This is the same thing you’ve been dealing with all along, you just really have yourself going. It gets like this in times where it just takes over. That is why it’s so important to put in as much work as you can in regard to learning to control it. You just need to keep doing the things you’ve been doing, breathing, relaxation, worry postponement, all of it. Do it as much as you need to, over and over. It will work and you will feel better you just have to take back control.

Sometimes your body can make your pain out to be worse than it is. I almost went to the ER because I thought I had a ruptured aneurysm when really.... it was just a bad migraine. I even made them do a CT scan. You’re not the only one! We’re here for you. Even now I still get nightly headaches and freak out. The more I worry about it, the more painful the headaches get. But the minute I take my anti panic medication and calm down and relax, the pain goes away. If the painkillers aren’t working then this leads me to believe that some of this could be mental because painkillers are VERY strong, I couldn’t feel a thing when I broke my LEG when they first gave them to me. Just try to find something that will calm you down and relax. Talk to your doctor about taking something when you start getting worked up like Xanax. Not to encourage you to take sedatives (they can be addicting) BUT for people like us, they can be really helpful in calming us down.

I agree, having something on hand to help you relax can be very helpful. Grey Dolphin, I so understand what you are going through... I've been there and it's still a work in progress for me but its a HECK of a lot better than it was. Years ago, I was going to the ER about every other week for a few months. Glad to hear you have appointments set up. More than likely all is well.

Thanks just get scared because the pains haven’t gone then you end googling it and obviously start panicking I’m trying to keep the anxiety under control hopefully I’ll get better soon and back to normal

Had some blood tests done and expressed my concern to the doctor and they were saying about risk factors what does that mean

Grey Dophin you may want to stay away from Googling. It can make anxiety 2x worst.

Yeah I’ve learnt that now shouldn’t have done it in the first place because it definitely makes the anxiety worse
