Don’t panic. You are having a relapse, it happens. Every one of us has ups and downs, good days and bad. The biggest thing is this, you were doing well with the issues you were having, now something else has restarted the cycle. Use the same methods to get past this as you did the previous problems. Just relax, reassure yourself, and try to calm yourself down. If you need to, go to the hospital let them do some checks on you and make sure everything is ok. It’s just your mind playing tricks on you.

But I can’t just go to the hospital I have to get a referral from a doctor which could take ages I just want to know now if I’m ok or not I really struggling not to panic I’ve tried the methods to calm myself again but they r not working because of the symptoms I have why would I have a lump I really don’t want it to be cancer anything but that

The complete blood count would show any diseases including cancer. That test is designed to make sure that everything in the body is working to spec, it anything is off it will show. If that and the ultrasound came back normal I doubt that you have anything to worry about.

You have to get your mind off of it, as long as you are obsessing over it you are only going to make the fear worse. Watch a movie, take a walk, play a game. Do something to take your mind off. If the calming techniques aren’t working just keep doing them, over tome they get easier. You are going to be ok, just need to calm down and think about something else.

But because to ultrasound was a month ago could it have might happened recently and I’ll be alright one minute then the next I’m in pain and can’t stop thinking about it because of the pain like what other reasons could there be a lump it’s on the left side and my stomach sometimes hurts when being pressed any ideas

Also with the complete blood test if an organ or something wasn’t alright could that indicate that someone’s cancer has spread like is that how it works?

The only things that showed up wrong on mine blood test was anemia which I knew already and borderline thyroid also my stomach sometimes has a weird bubbling feeling to but it’s mainly the pain and possible lump I’m worried about I’m seeing another therapist tomorrow so I hope she can help me I’m just confused to what is going on now

If this lump is big is enough for you to feel it from the outside, and it was serious, then it would’ve had to have been growing over time. Tumors (malignant ones anyway) take a very long time to grow before they are detected/felt. That’s why people with family of breast cancer need to get frequent screening. Cancer can be detected almost years before you feel a “lump.” The fact that this is more recent tells me it’s not serious. Something would’ve showed up in your recent tests. I’m thinking it’s inflammation of some sort. Working out recently? Are you sure a lump is really even there (not patronizing you)? Sometimes when I freak out about my lymph nodes (I’m a sufferer of health anxiety myself), it’ll feel like one is larger than the other when in reality it’s just in my head.

I would also like to point out that sometimes people just have lumps! Lol the ones that “grow recently” are most usually the ones you have nothing to worry about. If this was something serious you would’ve seen something on your last tests. Even if they were a month ago. Relax. I’m here if you need to talk.

Thanks I’ve just been concerned because I’ve been a lot of pain down there and had another painful health scare the other week I just get stressed you know when you are on painkillers and they don’t seem to help the pain and yeah I think something doesn’t feel right it’s on the left side and mainly hurts there even when you press on it so I’ve just been scared because I just don’t know what it could be I just tend to stress when I don’t what it is and then the only thing that can reassure me is if It just goes away on its own somehow or if a doctor tells me I’m like I alway need reassurance health anxiety has been really hard lately one minute I’m ok then the next I’m freaking out again I don’t know if u have had any experience yourself with any similar or have any suggestions what it could be or how to get better you know with the pain and thank you for offering to always talk I’ve found it helpful lately that talking to people helps a lot better than bottling it up like it’s nice to know that there are other people on here that will listen and not judge you because they are going through the same thing it just helps to hear other people’s reasons and reassurance so thanks I’ve got an appointment with a therapist tomorrow and then another appointment with my doctor next week I guess I’m just at that stage where I’m frustrated and scared as I just want to get better and back to normal as soon as possible sorry for the long paragraph but thanks again for offering to talk it really helps a lot

I can absolutely relate. I spent months with severe health anxiety. It started with chest pain and just went from there. By the time it was over I had believed at one point that I had every disease and disorder known to man. I had a weird pain in the upper part of my stomach and for months I thought it was my pancreas, headaches meant brain tumors, back pain was kidney failure, etc. it went on and on to the point that even if I wasn’t actively thinking about it I still felt the anxiety 24/7. That’s how I learned that being anxious causes the symptoms and then the symptoms make you more anxious. Once you’re in that cycle it’s very hard to get out. The only thing you can do is calm yourself down, if you give your mind and body a break from the anxiety gradually it will lessen and the symptoms will lessen with it.

I’m glad to hear that you’ll be seeing a therapist, just be completely honest with them, don’t hold back. Whatever they tell you, even if it seems stupid or pointless just listen to them. I know that I have done some strange things that were suggested to me but they helped.

Sometimes your body can make your pain out to be worse than it is. I almost went to the ER because I thought I had a ruptured aneurysm when really.... it was just a bad migraine. I even made them do a CT scan. You’re not the only one! We’re here for you. Even now I still get nightly headaches and freak out. The more I worry about it, the more painful the headaches get. But the minute I take my anti panic medication and calm down and relax, the pain goes away. If the painkillers aren’t working then this leads me to believe that some of this could be mental because painkillers are VERY strong, I couldn’t feel a thing when I broke my LEG when they first gave them to me. Just try to find something that will calm you down and relax. Talk to your doctor about taking something when you start getting worked up like Xanax. Not to encourage you to take sedatives (they can be addicting) BUT for people like us, they can be really helpful in calming us down.

Thanks it’s just frustrating because I felt like I got over the anxiety and now the pain in my stomach is making Me think the worse and I’m so scared I’m sure you can probably tell that cancer is one of my biggest fears so I can’t thinking about the what ifs I just want to get physically and mentally I just hope whatever it is is nothing Serious because the symptoms I have r scaring me because my mind is constantly on that thought and pain being there has not gone like I’m fine with anxiety but as soon as I feel something the anxiety is back I saw the therapist for an assessment today and she wants to obviously help me get better however I’m still scared over the pains in my stomach like honestly in your opinion from what I have said what do you think it could be

No, I don’t think it is. Especially considering that the tests have all come back ok. The pain/anxiety relationship is a real SOB. You could have started with a little bit of gas that caused a slight pain, perhaps there was some inflammation that you felt and of course it hurt when you pressed on it. Now your mind has taken that to the extreme so the pain is amplified, the sensation of a lump is more pronounced and because it’s all you’re thinking about everything becomes more intense. That’s how the anxiety cycle works. You are exhibiting the classic symptoms of it, just as I did.

Just try to calm yourself, get your mind off of the sensations and think of something else. Distract yourself if you need to, just think of anything but that.

As far as medications go for quick relief something in the benzodiazepine family (Xanax, Ativan, Valium) would be your best bet. They can eliminate panic within about 20 minutes but can be very addictive and many doctors refuse to prescribe them. The next option would be an anti depressant. That’s the route I took, they really helped me get through the worst of it and get back to myself. Finally another option is something called a beta blocker, they reduce the physical symptoms of anxiety and can help to calm you down. You should speak to your doctor about the options, I’m sure that they would be willing to try some things to help you.

Thanks it just scares me because the pain is on my left side and that feeling that I have felt I had the anti depressants before which didn’t agree with me and what exactly r beta blockers

Beta blockers are a medication that blocks adrenaline from getting to your heart. They can keep you from panicking because the adrenaline cannot increase your heart rate. They have a calming effect like a benzo but they’re not habit forming. They also lower your pulse which makes you more calm. Before you take those talk to the doctor about what to expect. They work well but you have to come off of them slowly and they can cause some symptoms like fatigue and dizziness. They worked for me in combination with an anti depressant called pristiq. That combo brought me back from hell.

Yes, it could be a cyst. Ovarian cysts are common and harmless. The 2 ultrasounds would be the external meaning the wand that you’re used to. The other, the internal is a probe that’s inserted vaginally it can see more clearly than the external. Generally cysts resolve themselves and cause no issues other than occasional pain.

Thanks it just hurts mainly on my lower left especially when being touched I can feel like almost like a big lump it’s hard to explain something just doesn’t feel right and I’m scared honestly don’t want it to be serious

It’s feels as almost as something is swollen under my skin and hurts to touch I’m constipated and struggle to pass despite feeling the need to also feel the urge to pee more and then obviously the pain I’ve been told I will get an ultrasound but could take weeks to wait I just want something done now because it hurts and I’m scared it could be serious I’ve also been having lower back pain and like a bubbling sensation in my stomach like movement don’t know if that is gas Or what

I’m not sure where you are located but the fastest way to get checked out is the emergency room, they will make sure that there is nothing life threatening.

You mention constipation, that could also cause the issue that you are having. If you have that it can cause swelling, pain, pain to the touch, etc. pretty much everything you’ve mentioned can be caused by constipation and guess what, anxiety can cause you to be constipated. When you worry and are scared the body diverts energy to the muscles, heart, brain, etc and away from “non vital” parts like your stomach. So, when we have spells of anxiety stomach upset and problems are often part of it.

I’ve got the constipation from tablets I was taking so the other symptoms I have r obviously the pain mainly left side is tender And does not feel right and lower back along with the constant urge to pee

I can’t say how long it will take for an appointment. That depends on the doctor and the insurance. They can generally diagnose anything, if there’s anything in there like cysts they will be able to see them as well as anything else that isn’t right.

I do highly doubt that it’s anything serious however.
