Why would I want a variant to develop that makes immunization irrelevant? The sarcasm in my post was not subtle.Must be the only person out there looking forward to that. I personally would not wish it on anybody. Vaccinated or unvaccinated.

I dislike crowds…always have so social distancing is not a problem for me. Still go to the store at odd times to avoid crowds and when I am in crowds…I stay far back. Attending an event soon and will go out of my way to avoid being stuck in tight crowds and tiny spaces. Even I am indifferent on masking, I will wear it at the event and have been still wearing in stores and stuff because I am unvaccinated. I probably wouldn’t bother if I was vaxxed. That's me all the way. I was social distancing long before this virus was known, let alone causing a pandemic. I rarely travel, and when I do I drive myself. If some places want to "discriminate" against me for it, oh well, they won't get my business. It doesn't hurt my feelings at all.
As far as masks go, I've never felt some type of way about wearing one. When it was required where I live, I was wearing one while out and about. Now it's optional (supposedly "if you aren't vaccinated you have to wear it", but how can they actually enforce that?) but I still wear one depending on where I'm going. If I'm running into a small store that's never busy, I don't wear one. If I'm in Walmart there's a good chance I'm wearing a mask. The mask mandate doesn't bother me, I can get things done with or without it.
Your far more likely to get blood clots if you catch COVID that’s one of the ways this virus kills! Is anyone besides me afraid of taking the shot? I keep thinking I’ll be the one in 1 million that will get a blood clot from it or something worse.
Yep. I also keep a close eye on myself, and if I have "could-be" symptoms I stay home and see how things go. If it passes during the same day it's almost certainly allergies or similar.I will wear it at the event and have been still wearing in stores and stuff because I am unvaccinated
That's also very much like myself, same reasonsHonestly, more nervous about being in crowds for reasons other than Covid. Not very trusting of anyone or anything these days.
Be a lab rat for Covid then, the disease with potential long term effects on your kidneys and heart.I'm not taking that shot... I'd rather wait this one out... I've heard all kinds of stories about people's left side of their face no longer moving... and a ton of other problems... We don't know the long term side effects cause this shot just came out... I'm not going to be a lab rat for the govt
One of them has proven side effects that are common and very damaging, kills millions of people, and can cause you to become a vector to get other people sick and possibly kill them. The other has no known long term side effects, has killed very few people, and has a comparatively miniscule chance of eliciting bad reactions, most of which are very treatable. Saying that you're a lab rat either way is a false equivalence.Be a lab rat for Covid or on the other hand be a lab rat for the vaccines. Either way everybody is a lab rat.
I wrote "there are no known long term side effects." That does not mean "there are no side effects", that means so far there aren't any that we're aware of. Compared to Covid, where there definitely are dire long term effects. So we know all the side effects of all the vaccines?
