Ok never heard of that saying it’s a good one and thankfully I see my therapist tomorrowsymptoms of what? a cold? probably.
anything more serious than a cold? no.
"always look for horses, not zebras." in other words, always look at the most likely possibility and work your way back to the most unlikely. for example, if you have a sore throat, start at "do i have a cold?" not at "do i have throat cancer?"
re: google - i've said it many times before, but if you can't resist the urge, you need to cancel your internet, get rid of your iphone, etc. that's how bad googling is for health anxiety.
Hi just wondering how long it lasted for youAh, so you’ve experienced the fun of the zaps, too. I’m so sorry. If you’ve been on anti-depressants for a while, it’s usually recommended to wean off them slowly so you don’t get such a strong physical reaction/withdrawal. I’ve done it a couple of times, and I usually spread it out over 2-3 weeks. My doc will tell me to start taking it every other day, then maybe half a pill, etc. Depends on the medicine, I suppose. But it might be something you can talk to your doctor about if you’re feeling a little antsy or getting the brain zaps. I know I start to feel that way after 2-3 days off them if I try to quit cold turkey. Of course, if it’s been almost a week, the worst may already be over for you!
Either way, take care of yourself.

I’m so fed up of these headaches everyday they got worse they have spread to the back (the pain) and I just don’t know what to do like could it be my brain? The last time I saw my doctor she said it was tension but I wasn’t stressed about anything then just want them to get bettersymptoms of what? a cold? probably.

depends what's causing the tension.Update she said it’s tension but how can that be only on one side and make my eye hurt how can I relieve the tension and also still not allowed the tablets
I’ve been trying that and it’s been better I’ve been doing meditation and distraction and trying not to focus on it but still the same the wondering if anything else could helpdepends what's causing the tension.
my guess it that it's largely anxiety/stress-based so the solution is to reduce your anxiety and your stress.
for muscle tension? sure... the most obvious being massage. you could also try yoga, stretching, meditation...I’ve been trying that and it’s been better I’ve been doing meditation and distraction and trying not to focus on it but still the same the wondering if anything else could help
Ok thanks im really surprised ive not been given the tablets I don’t know if its the stress or not but I’ve been getting weird sensations in my toes and legs and need to move them and a twitching under my rib and my friend who studying to be a nurse tells me all about things like ms and Parkinson and it’s hard not to think about them but I want to be a good and listen but it’s hardfor muscle tension? sure... the most obvious being massage. you could also try yoga, stretching, meditation...
you shouldn't have those conversations with your friend. your friend also shouldn't be having those conversations with you. it is very irresponsible behavior on their part. i've worked with people that have parkinsons and went through a year-long MS scare myself. nothing about what you describe sounds concerning for either of those things.Ok thanks im really surprised ive not been given the tablets I don’t know if its the stress or not but I’ve been getting weird sensations in my toes and legs and need to move them and a twitching under my rib and my friend who studying to be a nurse tells me all about things like ms and Parkinson and it’s hard not to think about them but I want to be a good and listen but it’s hard
Yeah the conversations are quite triggering don’t like to have but don’t want to seem like a bad friend I guess and really gosh that must have been awful I’m trying to distract myself as much possible but yeah was just concerned about the muscle spasmsyou shouldn't have those conversations with your friend. your friend also shouldn't be having those conversations with you. it is very irresponsible behavior on their part. i've worked with people that have parkinsons and went through a year-long MS scare myself. nothing about what you describe sounds concerning for either of those things.
do not worry about being a bad friend. you are allowed to have boundaries. it does not make you a bad friend to not want to talk about things that make you uncomfortable.Yeah the conversations are quite triggering don’t like to have but don’t want to seem like a bad friend I guess and really gosh that must have been awful I’m trying to distract myself as much possible but yeah was just concerned about the muscle spasms
Thanks I have to remind myself that sometimes it’s always hard to explain to people when they don’t really understand anxietydo not worry about being a bad friend. you are allowed to have boundaries. it does not make you a bad friend to not want to talk about things that make you uncomfortable.
Was doing better for a few days but the headaches are still there and I still keep worrying about aneurysm even went on google I’m so stressed about it today I find so hard to not go on googledo not worry about being a bad friend. you are allowed to have boundaries. it does not make you a bad friend to not want to talk about things that make you uncomfortable.
if you're having that hard of time staying off the internet, you should consider turning over the devices you use to surf it.Was doing better for a few days but the headaches are still there and I still keep worrying about aneurysm even went on google I’m so stressed about it today I find so hard to not go on google
Maybe good idea I don’t do it regularly but I tend to do it when I feel a big surge of anxietyif you're having that hard of time staying off the internet, you should consider turning over the devices you use to surf it.
That's a normal thing to want to do, but yeah, maybe not healthy. Is there someone who can help keep you accountable and keep you off Google so you don't check your symptoms?Maybe good idea I don’t do it regularly but I tend to do it when I feel a big surge of anxiety
