Had to go a few places today. But bagged a few jigsaws when out. Have about 12 to do now. The whole bloody virus thing is getting worse in Ireland again. Especially here in Dublin. New restrictions put in place again. Cases and deaths are going back up. Apart from shopping I think I will be in the house a lot.

I read mostly fantasy, sci-fi, books with world-building. World-building is a favorite practice of mine and I enjoy looking into other people's world-building as well.

Sorry to hear things are getting worse over there. Things have been bad here but not terrible. Everyone seems to be taking proper precautions as people return to school in person. Mask etiquette is being respected.

I just finished the Maze Runner series of books. The films are bad. They don't exactly follow the books.

Doing an annoying cat jigsaw at the moment. At least it is making me work.

As for the virus? Lockdown here we come again. Is in certain parts of Dublin. The areas you would expect. Well known for anti-social crap and the likes.

Maze Runner books? I read those last year. They gave me headaches and made me angry at all manipulative adults. Really, manipulation is admirable in some cases. But those guys are FAR too shady. Sorry to hear the films are bad though. Hey, I saw a cool jigsaw online. It was a two-layer puzzle of a purple octopus. Was not a square/rectangle, actually the shape of an octopus! It was actually really pretty looking and complex.

There were a lot of similar books brought out around the same time. The Hunger Games was much the same as the Maze Runner. Evil adults. Younger people fixing things up. It was a popular sort of story line for a few years.

Are a few odd jigsaws out there. Hard see through plastic ones too. Thing with those is you have no idea if the piece is the right way up or do you have to turn it over. Ones of various shapes can be hard. The pieces are odd shapes.

We are under lockdown again here in Dublin. As expected.

I saw the films so I will never read the books I guess. I have way more books that I will ever be able to read. I see stuff at library book sales and buy them. COVID is still low lever where I am since we have been pretty well locked down since March. No theaters open and restaurants are still only allowed half full so most are only takeout. Bars can open as of 2 days ago.

Today was all about gardening. Turned out to be a nice, warm day here. Though that is meant to change over the coming days. Starting reading a new book. Origin by Dan Brown. Have read all the other books he wrote in this series of books.

Cases numbers are simply too high here. Have to remember Ireland is a small country. Dublin even smaller again. If this rate continues we will be back on full lockdown soon. Like when this all started. Simple bit of maths. You lift restrictions and let more people out and about and open all shops. It will lead to a rise in cases. You need to try and keep large numbers away from each other. Hard to do in some work places. People been stupid having house parties.

I say let people decide for themselves. We let people use tobacco. We put a warning label on it and if people kill themselves with it then that was their choice. Same should go for covid. Sweden has been doing well with voluntary social distancing.

But you can't pass cancer on to other people. You get infected, you might infect many others. You might live and an older person might die because of you. That is my one issue with how people are going on. They are the ones spreading it. Other than that I couldn't care less about them. I still do what I done last year. With added extras because my mother is in her 80's. So now I do all the shopping. Various other things for her. If the virus couldn't be spread I would say ' let them all kill themselves '.

Thank you. I only do a small bit every day when doing them. The more you do them, the more you do in a small amount of time. You never know. You might see one you like.

Another day in the garden here. Now I am sore. :p

Yesterday was a quiet day in the house. Spent most of it reading. Weather was very bad here. Today is the crazy shopping day.

Reading in the early evening. Astronomy to follow. Jupiter is to the right of the moon at the moment. Had the telescope out.

We now have Mars to the East and Saturn and Jupiter ( Moving South ) next to each other in the night sky. Well worth looking at if you are into that kind of thing. I was for years and gave it up. But bought a much smaller telescope last year and use that now from in the house. Used to freeze my rear end off out in the back garden in the middle of Winter. Is warmer in the house looking out.

Today I went to a farmer's market, then to the store to purchase junk food for tonight and tomorrow (tomorrow I'll be watching the Patriots host the Raiders), then to a general store where I ate lunch.
