I just got done watching the New England Patriots defeat the Las Vegas Raiders, 36-20.

Go Patriots!

Today I learned that some people think that oysters and black olives are love potions. Hm. Kinda funny. I actually like black olives especially on pizza, and I've never started falling in love with random people. Heheh.

Today I volunteered at the food pantry.

I managed to not feel sleepy while working there today despite the fact that I only got about six hours of sleep last night.

This morning is the calm before the storm. Nice bit of sun out there. But what is forecast will keep us well locked up later in the day. Did get out for a while. Bought a few CDs. Some shopping as well. Getting colder here too. Will start a new jigsaw later in the day.

This morning I saw my mechanic, as my car needed an oil change. I also had him look under my car to see if any repairs were needed, which it doesn't, for now anyway.

Then I got a blood test at a community health center, talked to my pharmacist at the grocery store, then went to a discount store.

Started the new jigsaw. Then watching a Gaelic football match. Games are an hour long. Helped pass the evening away.

Was doing the jigsaw for a while yesterday. Then some astonomy. Lot of planets still out there. Had to laugh at a report of a bad storm that flooded parts of Dublin. Is only a small place and I live in Dublin and missed any storm. As did a load of others. read it and people were asking ' what storm '.

Weather still crap. Might still head out. Want to book an appointment to get the flu jab. Maybe pick up a few things along the way. Will see what the weather is like in a few minutes.

Tonight, I'll be watching the New England Patriots play the Kansas City Chiefs on TV.

I'll stay up as late as I can, then watch the rest of the game tomorrow morning, as I'll record it.

Have a Patriots top here. No idea why. Not a game I even watch. They seem to have been the top team over the last few years. Apart from last year.

Still raining outside here. That will make my mind up later about going out or not. Other than that, just reading a book at the moment. The girl in the window. Good book. Would have you guessing. Then watching some Gaelic football to fill up the rest of the night.

Shops, shops, shops and even more shops. Seems to be my new life. But got to finish the novel I was reading. Well worth a read for anybody who likes reading. ' The woman in the window '. Hope to start a new jigsaw later today. Maybe take in another Gaelic football match later in the evening.

I might read it, it sounds like an interesting book. I just finished reading The Bell Jar, I recommend it.
