Started playing Terraforming Mars yesterday. It’s been so long but I’m not doing too bad, considering.

@Siphonophorae what is the game all about? Not big into such games. Play a few card games and a football manager game. They are on the PC. No consoles or anything like that.

Wet morning here. But had to shop as ever. Then got a good bit of reading done in the afternoon. Nearly finished a huge Swedish book. Translated in English.

Today I went to a farmer's market. They had over a dozen vendors, which isn't bad for a small town farmer's market. And they had a Celtic music band playing there.

It was fun for me despite the hot weather.

You’re terraforming Mars (board game, not video game) and making it ready for human occupation. You’re a corporation competing with other corporations (opponents) for money, resources, projects, and progress. You get awards, points, and lots of strategy involved. A lot of cards are based on real science. Ways of heating up the planet and increasing oxygen & temperature, etc.
We finished today, I finished third place. 3/3. 93, 88, 72. I had 72 points, way better than last time. I’m not concerned about losing because I was playing against my parents. My dad usually wins board games, my mom is also good, so I feel pretty good about my position. I actually like it, though I don’t go in for long games much.

Have a few board games here. Only thing is they are 2 or more players. Picked up Risk, The walking special edition, for 4 Euro in a chairty shop. What you find out with the likes of Risk, is the board can become so flooded with Zombies, there is really no way for anybody to win. Have set up to learn the rules.

Then the most confusing of games ever. Jumanji. Got that for nothing. Depending on who you ask, the rules may differ. Hence people get confused playing the game. Did learn the right rules and offered it back to the person who gave it to me. Saying I would explain the rules to them. They told me to keep it.

Board games can be fun at times.

My books haven’t arrived! They were supposed to arrive a week ago, but not a single one came! I’m still waiting... :(

That is why I always have lots of books. Once done with them they go to charity shops.

Had to pick up medication this morning. Train there and back. Started another jigsaw. Snow and flowers. Lord help me. :p

I've been back to work for the past couple of weeks. One day I spent most of my time putting stickers on saline tubes. It's better than sitting home all day. At night there's always a riot to watch on the news somewhere.

Yesterday was morning shopping. Football manager 2020 arrived in the post. Had to set that up on the PC. Then got another chunk of my jigsaw done.

This morning the rain was pelting down when I woke up. Did stop so I went to the shops. Bagged another 4 one thousand piece jigsaws in a charity shop. 6 Euro for 4 jigsaws. No money really. Bit heavy carrying them home along with the messages I got for the Mother.

One wet morning. Still had to shop. Shaved the head in the afternoon. Then began reading a book.

I work from home. I do workout (HIIT) for an hour, go for a droning if it's not too hot or rainy and go for groceries and cook. At the evening I watch documentaries, right now I am watching Americas Top Secrets on Netflix. After that I am working on my photography

Had a bit to do yesterday morning. Train to a place. Then back home again. Shopping in the afternoon. Finished reading the book I was reading. Then sorted out a new jigsaw. Edge pieces. This is a thousand piece jigsaw. Keep me going for a while.

This morning will be post office and shopping. Same post office that got held up on Monday afternoon. Two blokes with guns. Happens every so often. Then no doubt I will be working on the jigsaw for a few hours.
