I ran out of books a couple days ago. My local library is supposed to open up soon, so I’m just waiting for that momentous occasion...

Books I am well stocked up on. Been reading through a lot of them. When I am not shopping. Started a new one today. Will get 100 plus pages read. Bit of a start. Seems an easy enough book to read.

Reading through the entire Rift War saga, I just finished and am moving on to the Krondor Trilogy (or something like that). Very involving books. Great when I wish I was anywhere but home.

Lot of shopping this morning. Then gardening in the early afternoon. Then onto reading. Funny how you can nearly guess how long it will take to read a book. Some books can drag out. Others are fast moving. This is a fast moving book. Blood Red Road. Come 7pm it was radio time for an hour. Like to put my earphones in and listen to my DAB radio. Nice bit of sun beaming in through the bedroom window. Relaxing on a reclining chair.

I volunteered at one of the farms again today. However, I worked there longer today than I usually do. And now I'm worn out as a result, but not so worn out that I can't make comments to AnxietyCommunity.com.

Shopping most days. Been a lot of rain the past few days. Weather warning in place for today. Very mild out though. Other than that the bulk of the day is spent reading.

Today was a day were everything fell on the same day. Go here. Go there. Go everywhere. Keeping the mother away from most places because of her age. That means it is all on me to do everything. Get the odd day like today. Seems you are running around all day long. Now home I can relax and read some.

Finally got a sister to read a new book. She’s only been reading two or three series over and over. I nagged at her until she gave in. She liked it, and I told her so.

Book reading is a good thing. One head a person say that a person who reads books lives many lives. Non reader just lives the one life. In other words we lives of the books that we read.

Got a good bit of reading done today. Then took on a hard sudoku puzzle. Always a buzz when you finish one of them. When the numbers start to fall into place for you. Good for the brain.

Started my new diet today. I have lost 23 pounds over the last 3 months but have stalled out for about 3 weeks now, so I decided to take it up a level. Originally I has just cut out fast food and started working out. As of today I'm cutting my carbs way back and going with lean meat and vegetables. I cooked a bunch of chicken and oven roasted broccoli.

Later today after it cools I'll go for my run and do some other cardio.

Shopping to begin the day with. Very humid day here. Most of it was spent reading. Finished the final book in a trilogy. Each book 600 plus pages. Tomorrow we start a new book.

I will never run out of books. I have way more than I can even read. I used to read more when my father was alive. After he died I started working and travelling a lot and didn't really have time to read. I would still buy interesting books though - cheap at library book sales. Science fiction. With aliens. Aliens are cool. Even with the pandemic I'm not reading - I also bought so many DVDs. I just watch the Brit show State of Play - with a young unknown actor named James McAvoy.

Today I have done nothing. And I don't have anything planned to do at any point later on today. It's a true do nothing day for me.

Nothing wrong with a day off Mike. A lazy day. Can be good at times.

This morning was train and credit union day. After I played my morning card games. Will be simply more reading in the afternoon.

I watched a cool and kind of scary sci-fi film called Upgrade. Highly recommended.

I watch a Star Trek episode every Monday night. Strangely, I always sleep better after staying up late. But I have started waking up at 7:30 when I am technically not allowed to get up before 8. It’s annoying but it’s probably good for when school starts again. Imagine having remote learning... for a whole year! That would be terrible. And I had my first school-anxiety nightmare. It was really hard to find any of my classes because the hallways were so twisty and confusing, then I was late to every single one and got a detention every time. I really hate dreams like that.
