i am absolutely freaking out and trying to hold it in. my dad made me lobster tail for christmas eve bc it’s my favorite but i had pretty much finished it when we both saw there was this like raw jumble of lobster in it. (i’ll add a picture). he put the other tail back into boiling water (he had the original one in for about ten and a half mins) and the second one was perfectly white and great. i’m so scared i’m going to get sick from this stupid lobster. i ate a little of the fatty stuff and the meat that was touching it. someone please tell me what will honestly happen.

Hi Sophie. People eat raw (even though yours was just undercooked) shellfish all the time. Clams, oysters etc.. You'll be absolutely fine.I too love lobster and wish that's what we're having tonight instead of ham.

I know it's very hard to focus on the bright side, but most of the time people eat raw seafood and turn out fine. Like "most" most of the time, not just me comforting you. Especially when you only ate a bit of meat that was attached to the raw area. You will be alright!

You’ll definitely be fine people have been eating raw fish forever. As long as your dad didn’t catch the lobster in a dirty retention pond out back I’m sure you’ll be 100% fine :)
