Sleep deprived... quarantined...alone... heart rate constantly over 110...all hopes lost....
Covid symptoms with panic attacks are unbelievable.... I don't know how to handle...this is like 100 times my worst panic attack ever...

Obviously you are frightened. This is not helping anything at all. I would try and look on the plus side of things, you at still at home. Not in a hospital. Just try and get as much rest as possible. Try and drink water and plenty of it. The calmer you can remain, which I know is easier said than done, the better it will be for you. Working yourself up into a state will only make things much worse. Can only hope you recover quickly.

I'm sorry dude that's a crappy situation. Being alone when you're sick sucks. Sleep as much as you can and see if there are people you can call or text with when you have the energy. It also helps me to find a happy TV show to keep me company, so to speak. Bob's Burgers is my favorite, but anything funny that doesn't require a ton of attention is good. Once I ended up running iCarly on loop when it was on Netflix...I was 28 at the time. But it was goofy and mindless, which was what I was looking for.

I can't even imagine what you're going through but hey, you're well enough to keep tabs on yourself and be here to talk with us about it, so that's something! As Cuchculan said, at least you're not in a hospital.

The rapid heart rate has got to be a heck of a thing, though... probably the never-ending cycle of "my heart rate is up, so I'm anxious, which makes my heart rate go up, so I'm anxious..." I'm so sorry!

Do you have a pulse oximeter? I recently bought one just in case (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0117V8Q2O/) because that's something I'd want to keep an eye on. Sometimes constant checking makes our HA worse, but it can also soothe.

You're taking control of the situation, then! It'll be a slog but you've got this.

Kishore Kumar, I agree with you, I think it's a good idea for you to stop watching the news.

Although hearing and watching about the virus on TV is not causing me to panic, I haven't been watching the news about it much lately. The media focuses on the negative mostly, whether it's about the virus or other news stories.

I'm amazed you guys were able to get pulse ox meters. I've been looking for weeks as my mom's doctor told her to buy one as she's extremely high risk, but I can't find a reputable one available anywhere.

And im currently only on Tylenol for fever and some multi vits and zinc....is it wise to take a .25 klonopin now for sleep?..... absolutely need sleep

That's a very low fever, so I'm glad to hear that! But I can definitely see why you would be feeling awful and scared, especially with your sense of smell/taste gone. That has got to be a very strange experience. I'm so sorry that's happening to you.

Do you have any medications for anxiety? I know I am just saying "well if it were me, I'd..." and that's not always helpful since I'm not in your position, but: if it were me, I'd be taking Xanax or something to help with the panic and anxiety spikes. In fact I'd probably be relying on it quite heavily...

Do you like lemonade? Something I've started doing to try to keep myself hydrated is buying stuff like Simply Lemonade and watering it down (1 part lemonade to 2 parts water) and drinking that throughout the day. Though I guess if you can't taste anything, maybe that wouldn't help all that much. Hm.

When you get through this- and I say "when" because you will. You will have gone through what a lot of us on here fear the most right now. You will be a beacon of hope for all of us. You can do this. You are doing great so far, right? It's a bad bad cold and you're doing everything you can to get through it. Feel free to Private message me anytime you feel alone or scared.

I worry about what if’s too. My elderly grandfather is getting on planes and going through airports and he’ll reach a country that is having a lot of trouble doing the right things to protect people. He’s going to be in danger but I know the second I think about what if’s they will severely cripple my belief he will come out okay. That’s what all what if’s do. I’m sorry I can’t go and give you a hug! *air hug* Hold on to the bright side! You’ll get through it!

Thanks for asking..today was somewhat okay...at least I was able to move around a bit...but this crazy fatigue is continuing... there was a moment when I felt very good so I tried to do some cycling in my cross trainer..but stopped within a minute or so since my HR was showing very high to even begin with....
