Facts and figures given here yesterday told a much better story. 86 percent of people who were infected have fully recovered. Of those 86 percent, 63 percent didn't end up in hospital. They could stay at home and recover there. When they give out the amount of cases they are talking about since day 1. We might here some high number. But that is overall since this all began. Nearly all have recovered fully by now. Death count wise? Yesterday it was only 10. Consider we went from under 300 to about 1,400 in a space of 3 weeks. 10 is a positive number.

One hospital, for whatever reason, didn't actually report a number of cases. Baffled everybody. So those cases had to be added on to the total. Always one. They had a 400 plus cases and watched numbers been read out every evening and didn't report any of their cases to the health executive.

More just posting this to show that people do recover fully. Not everybody ends up in hospital either. 63 percent here could stay at home and recover. ICU figure are at a new low too. Had been looking at well over a hundred plus in the ICU daily. Last few days that was down to 84 people.

So there is a lot of hope still out there.

MS is not doing great because we have a lot of stupid people here who think just because people talk about opening up they think they can stop being cautious. But we are a lot better off than some others. News people are really benefiting from this, so they exaggerate to make it seem even worse than it actually is...

Ireland has entered into phase 1 of trying to get things going again. It did come with a warning. If the numbers go up again we will got back to complete lockdown. Were we have been for the past few months. What is changing? Few other shops allowed to open. But the same rules still apply with all stores still. So a lot of workers going back to work. Those they know can social distance in work. For those who like golf, you can go for a round of golf. The family member rule is still laughable. I live at home so I am fine. But now you can meet two other family members, but only outdoors. That made us laugh. It stays this way till the end of June. Then they will see how things are going. If they can move to phase 2 or not. For now the numbers are looking good. Hence the are trying to move forward. But not too quickly. One step at a time.

Thanks, Siph, I think it is a good idea.

Looking at the plus side is good for anyone, I believe.

Unfortunately, I don't think it helps everyone who is worried about the coronavirus as well as it does for me. But even for those who it doesn't help as much as it does for me, it likely can still help them. So, to everyone, I say look at the plus side!

I haven’t worried at all about Corona. It isn’t nearly fatal enough for my HA brain.

URfine, I'm glad you aren't worried and nervous about the coronavirus. But do what you can to stay safe.

4 deaths and about 20 new cases yesterday. That is a new low since this all began. Hoping things keep going that way. Into phase 1 of opening the country back up. Certain workers back to work and certain shops allowed to open. They will look at how this goes first. Rather than dump everybody back to work at the same time.

I heard Louisiana is making owners of businesses prove that they have installed the right sanitation stations and stuff, they’ll be allowed to open the day after it arrives. One of my aunt’s businesses is opening back up. Her husband had COVID-19... but he’s feeling better now, even smiling sometimes! He’s now allowed to be around the rest of his family, and that really made me happy.
