Husband was exposed

So, I have a HUGE fear of covid. I don’t leave my house unless I’m going to a drive thru event, or have to go to a doctor. My daughter is home with me, and my mom only goes to the stores here, wearing a double mask.

My husband got exposed at his job. He worked with the guy for an hour and a half, and the guy tested positive for covid the next day. They have purifiers all over, they wear gloves and masks at all times, they get temp checked, and he said they were probably 10 feet or so away from each other for the entire time. He’s home now until he gets tested on Monday.

Given that this is my fear, I cannot rationalize anything right now. I’ve been having panic attacks since he told me yesterday. I’m just waiting for something bad to happen.

The mask work pretty good in my opinion if worn correctly. I see so many people running around with them on covering their mouths and not their noses I just smh. Just imagine how many times front line workers, first responders, grocery store workers etc have been around people that are positive. The only thing you can really do is wear your ppe and try to keep your immune system healthy. Vitamin C, D and Zinc will help with that. Plus there are plenty of great tea's out there that will help also some may even help you relax. Sorry I couldn't help you more.

My husband always wears his mask covering his nose and mouth, and he said the other guy did too. He started taking vitamin C, D and Zinc. I’m a total germaphobe so he is SUPER careful at work. He said he wipes down all the knobs, phones, buttons, if he steps away from his post. I guess I know the odds are low, but it’s very scary to me for it to even be a possibility.
