Afraid to Leave the House

I haven’t really left the house at all since March due to Covid. The only exception is taking walks. I’ve been working from home and having things delivered. I left my home for the first time today to get a haircut. I wore a mask, so did the stylist. There were only four people total in the salon, including me, all with masks. I thought it was best to go now while our numbers are low, as I anticipate them increasing (I live in Connecticut). I had such a panic attack there I couldn’t wait to leave, and I have been pacing since I got home. I have washed my hair twice, took a shower, washed my clothes etc. but I am convinced I’m going to get Covid and I’ve decided to become reclusive again and not leave the house. Help!

If you both have mask on than I don't think so you'll get it if other people didn't cough or sneeze you will be okay I once sat beside corona positive person his final result for corona was still pending but here I am I haven't got the thing

Think I have been out every day since this madness all began. Have to do all the shopping and pick up the mother's pension, pay household bills and the likes. People who are catching it are not exactly playing by the rules. Just be safe out there. Social distance were you can. Wash up when you get back home. Is the ones who flaunt the rules that are getting hit hardest. Talking house parties and those sorts of things. Hanging around in large groups.

I agree with Cuchculan, the people getting corona are the ones who go to those idiotic COVID parties to see who gets it, don’t wear a mask, stay around people who don’t wear masks, and do not respect social distancing. Rules are there to keep us safe. Not saying that corona is not dangerous, but do everything you can to stay safe while you’re out. Staying in house all the time makes you go crazy... believe me, I know.

I'm glad you've been taking walks during the pandemic, CTBlue. Taking walks is a lot better than nothing, because you need the fresh air and need to be out with nature some.
