I've had it for a couple of days now. It comes and goes, but I'm so hyper focused on it now

It's like a queasy feeling in the pit of my stomach. That's the only way to describe it. Occasional cramping with it. I'm a guy btw. Sometimes it's alleviated by passing wind and going to the bathroom

I'm thinking I could just be drinking too much tea, but idk anymore.

My sleep isn't affected and neither is my diet. My stool looks normal as well

Trying really hard not to google

Ya don't google , it'll say cancer or some terrible ailment that you do not have lol , always does. I'm always on the queasy side of things . It's anxiety for me . Have you tried an antacid ? Or a gas reliever like Gas X or Ovol ? If its a bit of irritable bowel maybe try some gas relief and limit the tea to a couple a day . That usually works for me . Hope you feel better !

My GI physician told me never to Google as in many instances it gives the worse case scenario.

I endorse the suggestion to not google and really wish I could obilge by it. I continue to have all kinds of weird symptoms and also continue to obsess over the “worst case scenario”. Anxiety and PMS have many symptoms linked to them…I suffer from both of those things and try hard to remind myself of that but it hasn’t been working lately. Social media is also really bad for me and is most definitely triggering some of my health anxiety… I know this yet I cannot stay away.

Quick update. Queasy feeling has gone for the most part.

It's just my stomach growling and making noise now and a hungry feeling constantly. Which sounds ridiculous i know. I do get an occasional bloated feeling, but I have zero problems sleeping so idk now

There is not always an obvious explanation, and sometimes even doctors can't tell you exactly why things like this happen. There are so many things that could cause it, including things you can't really see like fluctuations of certain things in the body. Things can get out of balance, even just a little, and you'll feel sensations like this. It's normal, generally not an issue of any kind unless it persists for a long time.

Nausea to the point of vomiting and stomach discomfort or pain is a common occurrence with anxiety. Anxiety, although a thinking disorder, affects the parasympathetic nervous system which controls involuntary muscles. It begins in the body’s core, aka the gut/stomach area. Those who are having issues with the stomach pain, nausea, that “knot” or “lump” in the gut, this is the cause, an overactive parasympathetic nervous system caused by anxiety and producing too much adrenaline, cortisol, etc. Practicing acceptance has helped me and I’ve gotten a lot of relief from it, those involuntary muscles are relaxing, thus the anxiety induced symptoms are fading away. For years my chest was so tense, I could not take a full, deep lung breath. But now I’m breathing deep and normal, no more nausea, the knot in my gut still flares up a little, I’m not on the downhill slide yet, but I’m working toward it. Acceptance works.
