hey guys,

I have noticed that a lot of the times I have things that I want to say to other people but I have to force myself to say something but the anxiety gets in the way which is rlly annoying. I think the reason why I feel awkward when there is a silence in the conversation is I feel like I have to say something. mow I have come to the realisation that I don't have to. I don't know when I realised this but it was a few days ago where someone posted to say leave jack alone he has anxiety and anyone in general. People have the right to not talk much if they don't want too.

People actually need to stop thinking that if someone doesn't talk that much, a lot of the time it doesn't mean that they are rude- they are just struggling.
if people don't accept youre not talking/not being rude it is their problem not yours.

can you give me advice for racing thoughts and how to deal with them

thanks, I have to remind myself that its ok to be quiet and not talk just not all the time eg with friends
