I have become worried about the tarmac on the ground becuase the wheelie bins go outside. My fear is the bin has contained a toilet plunger my fear is if I get any deliveries or furniture they will touch the ground and contaminate my item? I have bad ocd about this.

OCD it is. But very unlikely that such a thing will ever happen. I think deep down even you would know this. It is the OCD side of you that has these fears. The same could be said if we walked on the same tarmac. Our shoes follow us into the house and all around the house too. But we know the fear is an irrational fear. Just the mind playing tricks on you wanting you to believe something that will never happen.

Yes that’s true I try and tell myself I walk on this path daily and these germs are already coming in the house on my feet. My ocd often contradicts itself problem is next time I get an item delivered I could worry?

Let us pretend is does rest on the tarmac. That would just be the legs of the furniture. Not like the actual part you will be sitting on. Keep this in mind. You can clean the floors. Problem solved.
