Update. I've still not been to the doctor as I have been to busy. But my twitching is still prominent. However I have been doing lots of research and as the only symptom I have is the twitching I don't think it can be MND. Also twitching in MND apparently starts in one place and almost always accompanies weakness. My twitching is everywhere and also I have no muscle weakness. I was at the cricket at weekend and did a LOT of walking upstairs with no issues.

I finally went to see the GP. I explained the twitching. He asked if I had any muscle weakness and I told him no. I do sometime think I'm imagining my legs feel weak but I didn't tell him that as there is zero evidence my muscles are any weaker. I can still do everything I've always been able to do. He didn't seem too concerned and asked me to go for a blood test Friday to check for any deficiencies such as vitamins magnesium etc. So will update after this.

but you had a normal EMG which is very good! did they give you any suggestions as to what it could be? please remind yourself that anxiety can cause ALL of those symptoms! so can A LOT of benign and fixable things.

He suggested treatment for anxiety. He said psychological. But I don't think twitching and spasm are about anxiety.

they absolutely are/can be. i know this because i had both in the midst of my MS fears. i still get the intrusive "MS" concerns from time to time and if i let the idea fester in my brain too long, guess what comes back? my MS symptoms. guess what disappears when i get my anxiety under wraps? yep... the MS symptoms. anxiety can literally cause hundreds of physical symptoms.
