Had enough
Just hit another big one, just want it to end
Hi. Mark. Know the feeling well. I suggest most of us do on here. You can weather the storm. It's like being in a little boat in a storm. We need to lower our sails and head into the wind. Face and accept. Storms always pass, and with luck the sun will come out again. When I was in the throes of GAD I often sat with my head in my hands and wondered if I would ever recover. I did and so will you. Take heart. We so often think we are at the end of our tether when in fact the strength and courage are always there.

This is how I am feeling.
Welcome. A little more information would be helpful. Anxiety can come in a multitude of ways, and we need to begin to look for ways out.
On this site there is wealth of experience from those who know. There is no substitute for having been there. In the words of the old medieval monk, 'The dark cloud that breaks with blessings on your head'. It may seem so dark at the moment, but the sun does shine through if we go about it in the right way.

Been exactly there. I couldn’t possibly count the number of times I felt like you describe. But I got thru it and am on the road to recovery. It just took finding the right way to heal. Dr Claire Weekes’ acceptance method put me on the recovery road. By the grace of God I found her method. I’ve got more healing to do but I no longer drop to the depths of despair and I credit the method for helping me find my way.
