I joined this hoping to talk with lots of people or some anyway, has everyone went somewhere else, if so take me with you!! :(
Hi @butterfly67 the forum seems to be having a bit of a low time at the moment. I am confident that it will recover and people will come back. I suppose that’s kinda a normal thing on the internet, that the users fluctuate.

That's true for some reason. Maybe it has to do with the weekend or members just have more responsibilities than we do. It certainly isn't that folks are getting a "bye" day from their anxiety.

I know right, the forum is kinda quiet these days. Sometimes I'm like "what if people don't really care..." but then again it is my depression talking. We all have down days, and some active members haven't been so active these days, so that's probably why it feels eerie.

I think the lack of posting thing is probably the result of people signing up when they're desperate, posting their story, and disappearing once they've got some feedback. Also some people might not like the idea of thinking talking and interacting about their anxiety and depression on a daily basis... misery loves company and maybe we'd all be better off talking about something else.

Yeah, pretty much. It's a downer talking about this stuff regularly lol. Oh and it's the holidays and people are generally more busy this time of year.

If you look at it optimistically, it may mean a lot of people are getting over there problems. Personally, I doubt it, and there are probably more people sitting in a dark room more than ever...

True That might be it or parts of it. Anxiety is a hard beast to tackle. For some it’s enough to write it out and feel better after but then others find it very difficult to write and participate at all and tend to just read through the answers before they feel confident enough to start their own post.

Although like I said it's a downer talking about anxiety all the time. It was nice to talk to people on here that were going through the same thing. It's a bit sad seeing this place so quiet, but that's the way it is I guess. Hopefully it get's busier again once the holidays are over.

Hi Chris. You and I are amongst the relatively few members that are regularly posting right now. If you look at the number of views of the threads, it would seem that many are viewing but not participating further. Sadly it is my belief that the vast majority of the views are from the search engines crawling around. I still have hope that things will pick up after the holidays. And, I am positive that the slump is not caused by a number of members having found the cure for anxiety and you and I were left out of the loop.

I think Rinka said the site was having some difficulties after a google update, and that’s the reason for it being slow. Actually I’m seeing forums are more slow across the internet. Might be that search engines are sending less traffic to them for whatever reason. I dont know why, I much prefer forums to social media.. :shifty:

Uh a cure for anxiety, that would be really cool.
It’s quite sad that people are less and less participating. I just hope we get it back up again, after the holidays.
