Do any of you wake up and say here we go again!!!! I get up make some coffee and within 10 min. my whole body just feels weird.....kinda like a burning sensation with chills and feeling so crappy. Then it goes on all day and might go away before bed. Got myself in such a state like WTH is going on. I just don't want to do anything can't function. Can anxiety make you feel like this day after day?

I feel terrible every morning! I think I expect to feel that way now so as soon as I wake up I start to scan everything in my body to see what feels weird. Plus I started an antidepressant a couple weeks ago so I think that has made me feel weird too, but even before that, over the last year I have felt bad most of the day and maybe feel better in the afternoon/evening. I think people with anxiety over-think how they feel most of the time.

Do you get alot of symptoms? I just can't accept what they do. I also take meds but really don't help. Will I ever be normal.

I think normal changes. What once used to be normal is no longer normal to us. Fact is that if a person woke and felt great they would think there had to be something wrong. Simply because they don't feel that way as a rule. That is anxiety for you. Normal is feeling bad. Is how people are used to feeling. They can become lost to any other feelings. What you need is change. Of any sort. Try a few different things. Anything really. See if you can find that one thing that makes a difference. A difference to how you feel. Then it is all about getting used to that new thing. Hence I say that normal is always changing.

Think you should all think about getting some form of alarm clock that wakes you up with natural sounds. Sound of nature. So you are wakening up to something soothing and calm. You can also get these with a light that comes on slowly. To mimic the rising sun. Will it make a difference? I have no idea at all. It would be just another way to wake up. With added sounds of nature. Might help relax you some. If it was me I would be trying everything until I found something that worked for me.

Why don’t you think it’s anxiety?
Because I have so many physical symptoms. And I can't believe anxiety can do this. I have it 24/7 that's why I feel it can't be anxiety. Guess I am a stubborn one.

The feelings are real. Health anxiety isn’t like what they thought it was many years ago where people worried about symptoms that aren’t there. The sensations are very real. The things you feel physically aren’t imaginary. But they are all caused anxiety. Cortisol. Adrenaline. Constant catastrophizing. Expecting to feel lousy. General anxiety. It all takes a toll physically and can cause all the symptoms we feel. If you’ve been checked out and told it’s anxiety, why not try to believe it? Tell your thoughts NO when other worries and what if’s creep up. Keep telling yourself it’s anxiety. Don’t Google. Keep busy, take up a hobby, exercise. Work at it every single day. It’s not easy but it can lessen your anxiety and those awful sensations.

Yes it can. When does it stop? What steps have you taken to address your health anxiety problem? Once you start seeking CBT therapy, practicing mindful meditation, and getting regular exercise, you can expect the anxiety to lesson considerably over a few weeks or months. It can, and likely, will come and go however.
