What does real clinical weakness mean vs perceived weakness? I am scared I might have MS.

Like for a long time now my right arm and leg have “felt” tired and weak, but when I go to test them by lifting weights or running I can do everything normally. I am definitely over concentrating on them and always feel the need to test my ability to use them. But is this true weakness or just in my head/ perceived weakness.

If you had clinical weakness you wouldn't be able to work out normally or even perform basic tasks.

It could also be that your muscles are simply tired because you are constantly testing them.

You're gonna be ok.

Agreed, clinical weakness is very apparent. The simplest of tasks require much more effort, if they can even be done at all. Of course there are varying degrees of clinical weakness, but there is definitely still a huge difference between clinical and perceived.

Trust me - as a constant symptom checker myself I know things : you probably have weakened yourself by the continuous strength checking . Been there
