Simple question for everybody. You can answer it today. Then again tomorrow. Answer it every day. That way we can share simple things we might have done. Or even big things. Always good to look back in a few months and see are you doing more or doing less. So post away when you feel like it.

It was a great Derby. Can you imagine how much money was at stake with the decision on the objections? I did some fencing and am nervously awaiting one of our yaks giving birth.

Gardening. May think the month of May is a warm month. Was minus 1 last night. Coldest May in years so far. Never thought I would be out gardening with a big bloody coat and hat on me. It is nippy out there today.

The wife and I took the Harleys out before the rain hit and had a great ride - very relaxing

Had to shovel a couple of new inches of snow off of the deck this morning. 50 miles north got over 10 inches of snow yesterday.

Did some last-minute touch ups on some miniatures that I've been painting this week. I'll be putting the matte varnish on them when I get home then they'll be all dry and ready by tomorrow.

Oh, and I got myself caught up on some preetty insane YouTuber controversies that are currently going on. God I wish we could insert reaction gifs here because hoooooooooo doggy

Sounds cool..
When you say miniatures, I assume you're talking some kinda historical or fictional soldiers (?) What war/genre are you painting (?)

Games Workshop minis right now, actually. I started painting about... 5 years ago? Yeah, five. My first go with them was Privateer Press, then Corvus Belli's Infinity, and now I have a collection of Games Workshop models that I swear I'm going to get to but have been collecting dust lol. It's majority sci-fi (Warhammer 40k) but for the game that my husband and I are going to start in the coming weeks, I was just working on some from GW's Warhammer Underworlds: Nightvault.

I also do customisations on them with greenstuff/repairs when the x-acto blade cuts a little too much off when we're trying to get them off the sprues haha.

I remember a person taken me into what I assumed was just a shop. How I was surprised. It was actually a place were people went to play these games. Cases full of their figures. Which they were setting up on a huge board thing. I assume to start a battle against each other. It all went over my head as I was never into that sort of thing. Never knew such places even existed. Real eye opener.

Oh yeah, there's a lot of us lol. My FLGS (friendly local game store) is great. They used to have really bad management and every time I went in, I would get... LOOKS. As if none of them have ever seen a woman before. But they changed hands a few years back and now I go in almost every weekend to shop around and now the guys there end up asking me for painting advice lol

More gardening done today. Weather still feel more like November than May. Ireland for you.
