So I ended up going to the er since the irregular heartbeat was still happening, they did an ekg and the nurse said it was perfect almost textbook. She didn't see anything abnormal and will give me a little stronger medication for anxiety. So I guess if there sending me home I good there is nothing seriously wrong. I even told them it happens everyday almost all day long and she didn't seem to concerned since my ekg came back normal.

There you go. A good heart. Nothing wrong with it at all. Most people would be happy with that result. Case of accepting it now. Not easy. But what else can you do? If they said all is well then all is well. We know now it is just anxiety.

Same when I went into the er. And I was like???? But how can my heart be normal and be doing that? Yes anxiety. And yes, we do have to accept it as such, which is the hardest part. I am struggling lol you are in my thoughts and prayers!

If you pinpoint something and focus on it for long enough you will start to feel that way. You have to shift your attention to something else and try to bring in some happier thoughts and the mind will heal.

My own opinion is when you hear it is just anxiety it is hard to take in. Let nobody say any different at all. Most of us have been there. I remember many years ago not knowing what was going on in my life. Trying to figure it all out by myself. Back then I was having bad panic attacks and derealization and various other things. It confused me big time. Why all this was happening to me. You then go and see a doctor and hear ' it is just anxiety '. You do still have loads of questions. Loads to try and get your head around. Mainly how can ' just anxiety ' be doing all of this. It did take me time to get the right kind of help. Think for the first year of my anxiety I kept it all quiet. Even from my own family. For you it is a case of what do you do next? So called ' just anxiety ' can do a hell of lot to us. Fixing it can be the hardest part of all. Is not like a broken bone were you can plaster it up and it will mend. This is something you now have to try and work on. It won't be easy. It won't vanish over night. Just do your best. Nobody can ask for any more from you.

My EKG was normal too. It is hard to wrap your mind around, but it is the best feeling when you are able to.
I still struggle with feelings of heart fears every single day!! I have had a stress test, echo, and numerous ekgs. Always normal. My cardiologist says my heart is good.
