People with mental illness, such as anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, etc. have serious mental health issues, of course.
But many of them eventually overcome it and live happy, productive lives. They really can become mentally healthy over time with the help of psychiatric treatment.
However, if you have mental illness, no matter how much you improve, you will always have mental/emotional problems.
But that's the case for everyone, even for those who have never been mentally ill. Even the mentally healthiest individuals have issues.
We're all human, after all.
