Hi. Depression in my experience is a nasty pest who mainly feeds on getting us to believe that the best thing to do, is do nothing. Stay home, stay in bed, stop going out stop seeing people. Because of that we actually listen to that voice and comply. The opposite voice to follow is do something anything from the smallest move you can take to biggest move you can challenge your self. If your lying down - sit up. If your sitting up go walk around the house If you can do that go for a walk outside. A great peace I heard about they did a research in one University where they asked the people who diagnosed as clinically depressed to stand in front of a mirror for 5 min. daily and smile. after two weeks I believe people actually reported they were not feeling depressed - Try it maybe it will work for you.For the past 2 months it's been really hard with depression. I hate being sad all the time now. Does anyone know a way to get out of depression quicker? Thank you for your time!
