So my wife and I booked a trip out of town... about 30 minutes after booking it, I started getting anxiety, the feeling of having to constantly urinate... body temp changes... one minute hot the next cold... anyone else get this?

Yes - it's hard for me to make plans to do anything anymore. As soon as I make the commitment I start to panic and want to cancel.

Just know that only the environment changes. You wont change, your lifestyle wont change, and your relationships wont change. I wish you best of luck on the trip. Enjoy yourself and make the most of the trip.

I'm actually going on a trip in about a week here... On an airplane, traveling trip to meet up with a friend and have a good time a couple a days... So far, I haven't had the travel anxiety... Of course, it's a lot easier when you are meeting with someone that has mental issues too... he's understanding of it all more so if I was to turn around and not go... he would still be a friend..

Don't even think of canceling it! If you do, you will never go anywhere. Put up with the damn travel anxiety and I'm sure you will have a great time when you get there.

Same here. I have been extremely anxious for months now and we fly tomorrow morning. I want to just stay home. People will be drinking a lot and I am so nervous about it

So I am on vacation now and been so shaky and heart racing. Klonopin not really doing anything. Zoloft been on for 4 weeks. 2 weeks at 125mg. When do I just kill the idea of zoloft

People say 4-6 weeks before you start noticing a difference. The longest I have been able to deal with the side effects was 4 weeks on Lexapro and 3 weeks on celexa a few years ago. I always hoped they would be miracle drugs for me like they are for others, but that never happened, or maybe I didn't give it the extra couple weeks I should have, but the bad side effects were always on a super low dose so I could never even go up on the dose.

I feel terrible for you. I know that awful feeling of anxiety, especially when you are away from home. Try to hang in there. Praying for you!
