Hi. Have you ever stood and looked at set of railway lines? If you stand and look into the distance they seem to come toghter, but we know that is perspective so it doesn't bother us. Health anxiety is like that. We look into the distance and what do we see? Problems, because that's how HA works. But, like the railway lines we know in our hearts it's not true, but the head rules the heart.
Watching a magician on the stage we puzzle how the trick is done. We may never know becuse magicians keep their tricks a very close secret. But we know it's a trick becuse no one can make a railway train disappear, it just appears that they do. So with HA. We all know, once checked out and told we are ok, that we have anxiety. AH! But what if they missed something'. And we are off again. Sometimes we have to trust someone. The mail man, the policeman, the doctor. It is no good going through life full of doubt about possibilities. Anything is posible.
As the old man said, 'I have had many trobles in my life, but very few actually happened'.
When you are down and in the rabbit hole, look up to the light and see the railway lines. It's all one big con, an illusion, but so real that we convince ourselves it must be so. Then accept it all knowing it's not true.
