The reason I love Willie is obvious. But he holds special memories for me. My grandpa loved him and would play his songs on road trips and sing along. When my mother in law was sick with cancer, we converted our livingroom into her bedroom. Spent many wonderful hours in there watching Willie Nelson concerts, and I fell even more inlove with him.
First song reminds me of a good friend. We used to be together. This was a song she loved so much when I played it for her. That to her it became our song. She is settled down these days with someone. Obviously not me.
When I stayed out in my Aunt's house years ago, my older cousin used to sing a slow version of this next song. As it does get faster. She would keep it slow. Trying to sing her younger sister to sleep. I always fell asleep first. Takes me back to those days many years ago.
Delores Keane has a fantastic voice. Really impressed! Love the Beatles. Forever a fan. I also love Chicago. That would be a cool concert!!
Whenever Bob Seger comes on, I tell everyone to hush and listen to the voice of an angel lol
Wolfman Jack announced this wonderful song here, Wolfman was in the movie American Graffiti some of that movie was filmed in my home town. I had a chance to meet Wolfman when I was around 9 years old. He was actually flirting with my mom haha he was eating a round table pizza and signed a autograph for her saying to Charlotte I love you always "Wolfman" I have it put away with some of her stuff. Good memories
May as well post a song from the film. I remember myth busters tried taken the back wheels off a police care using some wire. As you see in the film. It couldn't be done not matter what they tried. You get some clips from the film in this song. Have to watch it again some evening.
