So tonight I went to McDonald’sand hot a soda at the drive thru. The soda tastes weird at this one but I was thirsty. Anyways, drove back home and as I was walking to the front door I noticed a frog kinda hanging from the side of the roof maybe in the gutter things. Anyways I was staring at this for a while because I thought it was weird I couldn’t really see if it was ok or not because it was next to a bright light. I went inside and started to cook something but my vision seemed off. Kept seeing something off to the side! I completely freaked out! Thought I was having a seizure or stroke. I thought McDonald’s poisoned me. Started shaking, couldn’t breathe, thought I was going blind and couldn’t walk, my left arm went numb, gave myself diarrhea and almost threw up. About to call 911 but my husband decided to me to the hospital instead.
Diagnosis: Well, I guess when I was staring at mr. frog next to our super bright flood lights it messed with my eyes and is a completely normal reaction. It’s called an afterimage! I feel retarded!!!
I guess my anxiety at least gives me and those around me a lot of interesting and crazy stories to tell!

You had a nasty panic attack. Impressions!! We see something that may be perfectly normal to most, but being sensitised, that is open to suggestion, we panic. It is very common in anxiety to see things that ware not there. Especially around the peripheral of vision. Flashes, wiggly lines etc, all part of Mr. Anxieties' box of tricks. Nothing to be concerned about. All the symptoms you describe can be attributed to anxiety, and that one word. Fear! I have said before, that when the mind sends messages of fear and danger to the brain it responds in a perfectly normal way. It sets the body up for the fight/flight syndrome. If you are retarded then we all are! The inability to see all that as perfectly normal IN THE CIRCUMSTANCES WE CREATE FOR IT is so difficult in anxiety and especially during a panic attack. We do it to ourselves. There is no monster out there waiting to devour us, we are our own monster.
