So this weekend wasn't to bad with them, it wasn't all day long. Last night I didn't get much sleep because it kept happening. It happened several times last night and I kept worrying about it. I'm just scared and worried that this has been happening for a month now everyday pretty much all day long. I don't know what to do.

See your primary doctor or cardiologist if you feel like it's persistent or getting worse. They can evaluate as necessary and take whatever action may be needed. But these sensations are generally harmless / normal, and pretty much everyone gets them at some point. I still get them sometimes, but I used to get them quite frequently when my anxiety was at its worst.

Maybe they will give you a Holter monitor. Check your heart out over a period of about a week. My father used to always have one of them. We used to call it his walkman. Because that is what it reminded us of. Much better than your watch for reading your heart and picking up skipped heartbeats.

Yes, go see your primary doctor. It may give you some peace of mind. Believe me. I was exactly where you are just last week. Mine were going on for 2 months. It got worse and worse. I was getting them like you. Everyday, all day. Couldn't sleep at night. Went to the doctor who told me everything was good. Went to the emergency and was told everything was good. It took me time and the help of people in this forum to finally convince myself it was the anxiety and quite normal. Now, I am on my 4th day with barely no incidents!! I have been taking my medication every morning, which includes meds for anxiety, a beta blocker to help with the palpitations, magnesium (which I have been told by a few people now, helps heart palpitations), and vitamin b12 for heart health. I know it is scary. Believe me, I thought I had heart desease. There is no harm in being proactive about your health. Make an appointment and see what your doctor has to say! And remember, you have survived this far!

How are you feeling now with your skipped beats? I'm on my third day after going 4 days without them. They slowed down today but tonight they are a little more. Went through a very anxious period. Actually had a panic attack very early this morning. Hate this feeling. Hope you are feeling better.

The woman who never sleeps. How you are feeling somewhat better. Remember anxiety can never really hurt you. Might make you feel bad. But that is about all it can do. We hava all had many panic attacks and we are all still here. Proof it never does us any real harm at all. Same with the skipped heartbeats. Horrible as they might be, they have never done you any real harm at all.

You are right, I barely sleep and when I do it's in increments lol. My doctor suggested trazidone but I didn't want it. My ex gave me one, once when I couldn't sleep due to bronchitis and I hated how it made me feel!

Thank you for reminding me. I'm trying to feel better. I broke down crying not long ago. Feels like I'm having a midlife crisis or something ridiculous like that. Hope everything is good with you! Still having all 4 seasons in one day there?

Heatwave today. Storms tomorrow. Can't beat Irish weather. Rains in between showers here. :p

Nothing wrong with a good cry here and there. It can help. Just a case of trying to figure a way out of all of this.

Can get Bin to send you a voice recording. That would knock anybody out. Not that his voice is soothing or anything like that. Just a boring fecker. LOL ( I did not just say that )

Ever try and just sit there and listen to your own body. Plus your own thoughts. Can be interesting. Taken note of every little thing you feel. ( Bin take your mind out of the gutter about that last sentence ) In other words questions what is happening. Can this really harm me? Is it any different than before? How many times have I had this before? Has it ever harmed me before? Logical questions. See what answers you come up with.

I'm doing a little better, there still happening but not as frequent like maybe every 8 or more hrs. I'm trying not to think about it, my mom suggested I should take a multivitamin so I'm going to try that today. I'm also trying to think this wasn't happening all the time like this only started last month.

With any luck things will begin to pick up for you. Just give yourself things to do. So you have less time to focus inwardly on your heart.
