So from my search on the good ole web...I see that there is a link between anxiety and sinus infections- I really was starting to doubt myself. My anxiety just will not let up... it’s not as intense as it was before starting the antibiotic, but still hanging out!
Anyone else experience this with a sinus infection?

How interesting! I usually don't get them for as long as you've had this one. I wonder what causes the link... I guess it makes me feel anxious when I can't breathe through my nose - just feels like my air is restricted, which makes me feel kind of...unsafe? Hard to describe. Hang in there. It will end!!

Yes, it is the fact of having a hard time with breathing and breathing more through your mouth... and the dryness! I’ve been dealing with this for going on three weeks. Just saw the ENT last week Thursday. So hopefully the end is in sight and the antibiotic will do it’s job! Thank you!

OOOH, that makes sense. Breathing through your mouth DOES make you anxious, for physiological reasons. I had just never thought about it before. Man, so sorry you've been fighting this so long. Does anything relieve it, like hot showers or Vicks?

No not really. And then then lack of sleep! I am for sure not myself. My poor husband is just besides himself with worry and tired too. Last night I actually slept for the first time without waking in a panic. So I’m hopeful. Thank you for talking with me!

You just explained the past two weeks for me. Feel like my sinuses or nose is stuffed or one at a time is stuffed and then I try and breath through my nose and feel I’m not getting enough air then I try and breath harder and it makes it worse. I been using Afrin to keep myself clear.
