should you check your bp and heart rate

i checked my bp yesterday at first it was 110/80 but after few hours i checked it again it was 140/100 im in a panic mode rightnow my heart beat also shows around 90 some times 79 85 86 really worried in a constant panic mode please help me

It's not good to compulsively check over and over...will cause unseeded stress. Your levels aren't at any extreme danger level. Try not to take anymore today and relax.

Machines or tests of any sort, unless under medical supervision, should be avoided. We are not doctors so have no idea how to interpret readings. The more we test the more we worry. Leave any testing to the professionals. It is obvious that the more you get stressed out the higher your BP will be. There is still the 'white coat syndrome' which doctors allow for. In the doctors surgery or in hospital our BP goes up because of anxiety. Calm down and things will return to normal.

I don’t dare. I threw away my watch that shows my heart beat. If I checked I’d end up in the hospital all the time because I would freak myself out.

Every bit of this. I can speak from experience, specifically as it relates to BP and pulse.
