I've been having this extreme hypochondria about having contracted rabies, let me tell you how all of this started.
I saw a stray dog (noo physical signs of rabies),I caressed her and fed her, I had a open wound while caressing her and I don't recall it licking me....A day later I got a rabies shot and another shot 3 days later (I was previously vaccinated)....
A week after getting my second dose something hit me from a tree while I was riding a bike (not sure if it's a bat, it might be a bat too, I have a scratch without bleeding) I took another shot a day later.
Now I feel extremely consumed by intrusive thoughts of having contracted rabies.... I feel a sore throat (I've been focusing on it way to much to make sure I can drink water,which I am) ..... But I feel a lump in my throat and I am petrified.... I have been previously vaccinated for rabies, I've had 2 booster shot after carresing the dog and yet I'm paying too much attention to my physical sensations and being consumed by it... "I feel a deep lump in my throat"
