I need to know ow if what my therapist says is possible.
A little back story.
I had my first panic attack in a car and most of my panic attacks still do occur in a car till this day.
When u was talkin to my therapist about this...she seems to think that I have mild Ptsd because of this.
I never thought it would be possible.
I always thought that Ptsd was for traumatizing life events such as abuse or something like that..but, from anxiety and panic attacks? ??
She explains that the avoidance of the situation indicates Ptsd. Reaching get out to all Ptsd sufferers out there.... Is this possible? ?
I'm kinda confused.

For sure! You find it traumatizing to be in a car for a length of time. Some people think that you only get PTSD if you've been in a war on the front line or something. If there is something that you do find traumatic, then that can bring on PTSD. Especially you are always going out in the car and putting yourself through it.
