Been having messed up periods and I am hoping it's just the normal change taking place. Two months in a row now that my period has lasted beyond the normal 7 days. Today would be day 10. Yesterday it stopped. But bleeding again today. Going to figure out a way to get into the gynecologist. Have had two nightmares in a row about having cancer. I'm trying not to freak out. Seems also my heart issues started the day my period started and now they have gone. So a good indication hormones are wacky. I just hate not knowing what this could be!! Looking back, I realize I have posted about this before. Sorry about that. Just can't stop thinking it is something nefarious. Please, if anyone could share a similar experience!

I do think they are all linked. But not in the way you might see them as linked. One puts and idea in your head. That leads to the next one. Which in turn brings on the next one. Is a pattern there. I am sure you can get through this. You showed us how strong you were before. You can do that again. All about belief in yourself.

I am the opposite…mine are getting shorter. Like the last few months they have only been 2-3 days. Apparently they can be that short but still a bit worried. My stress levels have been high though and I suppose it is possible I can be in the beginning stages of perimenopause but I think I am bit young for that..not sure what to think.

I am pretty sure I am going through it; perimenopause. And high anxiety is one of the symptoms. Perimenopause begins in the early to mid 40s but can even start in our mid to late 30s. Here are some but not all of the symptoms.
