I get them now and then on the inside of my elbow and above, which I assume is from sleeping on said arm (I also get them from blood pressure cuffs, blood draw tourniquets and carrying bags on my arm there, so I don't think too much about it). But twice this week my entire forearm has been absolutely covered, with big patches on my upper arm. Starting to weird me out. I have to get blood tests done soon anyway, so I'll know sooner or later if something's up besides my giant melon head being too much for one arm to support. Just one more thing to bug me. Ugh.

I think you'll be just fine. I also get them occasionally, from various things, but especially when I've slept in a weird position. Yes, I've woken up with a large area seemingly covered in petechiae, and all was well. Just slept funny.

Yeah this happens to me now and again. No idea why it's bugging me now - quarantine stress, stress over GP retiring, something else. Hopefully it'll blow over soon.

It will blow over in due time, yeah. I have bouts of increased anxiety like this as well. Things that have bothered me before, or even new things. I'll occasionally worry about stuff that otherwise never bothers me.

I’ve had it too. And it bugged me for a couple of days. Googled like crazy only to find bad news.
I got it over it due to new symptoms YAY.
I still get it now and then.

Got em again last night. This is really freaking me out. I wish the lab would call me back so I could schedule the damn blood work but no luck. I could do it online but I need to find out if my doctor ever actually sent the order for the tests before I go (don't want to go there and not be able to have them done).

I’m sure you’re fine. Don’t worry about it too much :)

I’ve had the same before, I used to get them all over my legs and feet every time I showered. Went for a blood test and it came back normal. It’s most likely just pressure on your body for long periods of time, I don’t think it’s anything to stress over too much

Thanks guys. Hopefully you're right. I'll occasionally get them in the shower as well, if I scratch myself or scrub too hard. Interestingly, the rubber band for the blood test that felt like it would cut through my arm left no marks. Go figure! Maybe it's more about sustained pressure than how tight something is. I almost always get huge stripes of them when I get my blood pressure taken. (And once when I was a kid, someone put water wings on me for a swimming lesson. I looked like raw bacon after.) But never like the ones I'm getting now where they just keep coming back, and in a different place than usual. I never know when something's significant or if I'm just noticing things too closely.

Same as ever, still get patches occasionally but I've never had any blood test results that suggest anything wrong when I get yearly blood tests done or stuff like that.

I was just going to post about this. I got a handful of small red pinhole dots on the top of my foot on Monday. I assumed it was from standing and heat since I’ve gotten them on my ankles before. Anyway, they faded the next day and went away completely in 1-2 days. Today I took off my sneaker and sock and I have like 6-7 of the same dots on the top of my foot (different spot). My sneakers or socks aren’t tight but I do stand a lot. I’m going on vacation in two days and all I can think about is that I have leukemia. I did have a blood draw at the end of December and usually that would allow me to push it out of my mind but I can’t this time. Anyone else get it on the top of the foot? If it’s leukemia, would it come and go?

I just went to Disney for a week and walked non stop in the heat. I have the dots on my foot and my ankles now. Can walking a lot really have caused all this??

Could be from heat rash as well! Don't freak out over it I'm sure it's perfectly fine

Thank you! I did assume the ankle rash was from walking around Disney and the heat. The dots on my foot freak me out though because they don’t turn white when you press on them and I know that’s a sign of the leukemia rash
