Many people in our world are generally positive thinkers.
Years ago, I was reading a book about psychology that discussed that.
The author said that, say someone is a sports fan and his or her favorite team wins a game. After the win, the person will likely say that he/she is glad they won, because seeing their team lose would have stunk.
But if the team loses a game, the person will likely say that it's just a game. It's no big deal.
I think it's true that that's a part of human nature for those who are positive thinkers.
However, I think that's a good thing! I don't think that's irrational. I say enjoy the win if your favorite team wins a game, but don't think it's the end of the world if the team loses.
And I believe that's true about life in general. You know, things that more important in your life than rooting for your favorite sports team. I say be a positive thinker in order to help yourself with excessive anxieties and sadness.
