Hello.
I just dealt with a bought of gerd which they put me on Omeprazole and before that pantoparzole(?) and I couldn’t take them the side effect were worse than the gerd. I had lost all appetite. Nausea and felt sick constantly. I stopped taking them and gerd is gone but the problem is before the gerd and now I still have pain under my left rib. And now intense mid back pain. TMI but I’m concerned about my pancreas. I have had yellow stool and floating bowel movements before the yellow literally for about a year. lately I wake up with nausea and can’t eat till around lunch before the nausea wears off. I’m due to see a gi doctor this weak but just wish they would take a full blood test and ct of my stomach. Everyone in my family is no help. Almost to a point of going into er and getting the darn test to know if something wrong. I do have Ibs yes. But that shouldn’t cause me to have floating bowel movements every time I go!! I’ve seriously lost 10 pounds in 3 weeks in know it was loss of appetite.
sorry about the tmi just at my wits end
Funny thing is not even anxious just want answers.

There are many reasons why you could have pain in that area. Have you had any ultrasound done

Nope not yet that’s what I’m saying the primary doctor did nothing but say it’s gerd and put me on a ppi so I feel lost and frustrated. Just want answers I have a gi appointment this Wednesday morning but I’m feeling like should I just go into the er and have them test me right than and there tomorrow.

I don’t think you need to rush to an ER but you should follow up with your doctor,
Then again only you know how you feel we can’t give medical advice that you really don’t feel well you should get a checked out

I got some blood work done the nurse said all looked good. My mcm and mch was low. The Lipase blood test was normal. They didn’t do a sonogram. But still do have my gi appointment for Wednesday morning. My nausea came back and back pain still bad. But wondering if it’s anxiety too.

Hello,
I could have written this myself, the Dr says I have IBS but I'm not sure, I have a bad back which gets worse after eating when my stomach flares up after every meal and I get bloating/gas. I rang my Dr on Friday concerned and these are the notes he had written. Problem is when you have anxiety/Ocd that's all they seem to focus on. I don't like ringing the Dr's anymore as I feel they just judge me.

Endoscopy found hiatus hernia (Robert reported )
Has had ultrasound / colonoscopy / endoscopy
pylori parasites and cysts normal
sleeping OK
Not losing any weight
Feels indigestion
Has stopped drinking alcohol
quite polysymptomatic
Back pain is a new thing
gets gas which causes pain down the leftside
Has tried every SSRI

Feels that the link between his back pain and gastric sensationbs
pain in back is lower
No red flags

States not anxious but definitely the conversations was anxious

Have recommended tries physio

mine started so suddenly with the gerd in beginning of March. And still having back pain and nausea before and after eating. And just some other issues. But I’ve lost 7 pounds in 3 weeks could be my husband and I just changed from night shift to day sobetter sleep and not eating so late. But also loss of appetite.

Hope you start to feel better soon.:)
Have you found any answers to you symptoms?
I had a ct scan all my organs looked good I am going to get a pancreas blood test. Unfortunately they found a 2 inch cyst on my right ovary. So now my HA is worried about that and my gi issues and back pain are still acting up. But thank you I’m holding in there. ☺
Hope you start to feel better soon.:)

I understand. Well I hope and pray you’ll get answers. Sometimes we just gotta keep pushing through it. I understand before it started back around September for me I am a avid hiker and kayaker. I get the loss of motivation. I think for most of us it’s the not knowing why. I struggle with control and having to know. So this is all very frustrating when all you want to do is feel like your old self again.

Honestly mine has been like that before as well it being brown is probably a good thing just means you have some mucus in your stool. Which can be Ibs. If your really concerned I suggest going to the gi doctor like I did. Now I’m still dealing with a lot of issues as well but feeling a tiny bit better working with medical professionals. Between my gynecology issues and gi issues it’s just good to finally have someone take you serious. But honestly if that’s your only symptoms sounds promising that it’s really not anything concerning.
