I got a small chip in my wall so I painted over the hole which sort of fixed it but my ocd is it’s slightly darker and I can notice if I am being particular that I painted over it. My ocd wants to make me repaint the whole house or hang a picture to cover it?

Why bother with extra work. You are probably the only person who can notice what you done. When it dries it might blend in even more. Wet paint always looks different.

Thanks well my mother couldn’t notice it on FaceTime. It did try slightly different but you need to look for it to notice it but as I have ocd and know it’s there it annoys me. And yes it would be a lot of extra work.

I worry my house is tainted I think it’s because I never put filler over the hole and just paint. Sounds trivial but I worry the house is spoiled and the home report would be ruined as they would say I have this tiny hole in the wall. Not sure it’s about the paint as much now just the imperfection I know nobody else has holes in there wall I mean you can’t see it now it’s painted over but I still worry? I have attached the blemish below https://ibb.co/84sw08F

If you paint the whole room would that not be more contamination? Or tainted as you like to call it. Thus the small bit of paint is safer. Just using your own logic here.
