Hi,

So this is a bit scary for me as I've never experienced any of these feelings before. I suppose I've had mild symptoms since having my daughter and the fear of not being around to see her grow up. I just come back from holiday and got taken straight to hospital because I had a lump come up on my leg when I was out there. Then I started feeling weird. I had a two night stay, they did bloods and chest xray and came back clear. They said I have a viral infection and inflammation of the muscles between ribs. But this didn't reassure me. I went to the doctor after and I was in a complete state and out of control. Shes put me on sertraline and diazepam. My legs continued to feel tingly and numb and like I couldn't walk properly so I then stupidly googled my symptoms and it threw back a condition which has now scared me. Can I please ask what symptoms on anxiety do you have? This might help to put my mind at ease because I constantly am feeling like I'm dying or have a serious condition

Please help!

The magical world of anxiety. Our symptoms would all differ. Which will tell you how many symptoms there are. You have mentioned some of the more common symptoms. Tingles in the hands or feet. Wobbly legs and the likes. Anxiety can cause such things. Plus hundreds of other things too. But to know them all might be like suggesting you will get them. I would say just to add in what you get. That way the other symptoms we might get will be unknown to you. So you won't expect to get them. Feed a person an idea and they will begin to feel what you told them they should feel. That can be how anxiety works a lot of the time. It is also very common to have a few things wrong after having a new baby. I am sure the females on the forum will tell you that one. All this post Natal stuff. Can cause bad anxiety and depression. But you are not alone. On here we all suffer from one thing or another. Some might not leave their houses. Others can but are anxious when out. Other function great when out and get anxious when they get home. Just one example of the mixture of how it effects different people. They would all have anxiety. But they would all have different triggers. Things that set their anxiety off. Just keep the visits with the doctor going. Might be suggested you give therapy a try. We have all been there.

Hi Nikki I am like you, new to this forum and relatively new to anxiety. I have a daughter too and worry constantly what would happen to her if I got ill or died. My father was diagnosed with cancer in March and it all started from there. I am on propranolol and have just started on citalopram praying for a magic cure for this to disappear as quick as it came. I have a consultation with a counsellor on Monday too.
Hear if you need to talk.

Symptoms are pins and needles, fast heart rate, headaches, pain in my legs. I'm having less attacks now I'm on medication and starting CBT soon. I'm currently experiencing some symptoms and hoping it will pass in a minute

Hi Nikki,
Hope you are feeling better. I have started keeping a log of my symptoms in order to report them to my physician.

Actually, there is nothing "magical" about the world of anxiety!

Vision issues, wobbly legs/shakiness, twitches, heart palpitations and loss of appetite is what I have had. Some of them come and go, and some of them are constant and just won’t go away. I almost have a hard time believing they are anxiety.
