I just looked on Google about being able to tell if you are anemic by looking at your lower eyelid and it showed pictures. I think mine look that. I spoke with my primary care physician and he said, stay off Google and checking your eyelid is very non-specific. I am going to have blood drawn tomorrow. Please talk me through, so I don't Google or go down the what if path.

Do you have any other symptoms? How old are you if you don't mind my asking? I have anemia. I am told any low iron is considered anemic. I went through the same exact thing you did when they told me I was anemic. Especially after I googled why one could be anemic!

I am 67. I really don't have any other symptoms. I exercise everyday, don't have shortness of breath, just had normal colonoscopy. I do have LPR and sinus issues. I just sent a picture of my eyelid to Justanswer, and dr. On there said it looked mildly anemic. I really don't eat a balanced diet and am under a lot of stress.

I would say not to worry too much! Let your doctor do your blood work and go from therr!there! Have a feeling you are fine!

The results of my CBC and basic metabolic panel were great, per my doctor. The anxiety was caused by Google. Learned my lesson. Thanks for asking.

Me too, every time I terrify myself with Google I swear to myself I'll never search my symptoms again, and then a few days later I'm back at it.
