I'm trying to get some feedback on curing fibroids naturally. I have done a lot of web research and read quite a bit on what have recommended, but I'd love to here from people first hand if they know of, or have used anything that works for curing fibroids. Thanks for sharing.

If your looking for natural remedies, Green Tea is supposed to have a compound called Epigallocatechin Gallate that inhibits the growth of fibroid cells, eventually increasing their death rate. Drinking two or three cups a day of Green Tea, can reduce the size and severity of fibroids.:)

I haven't come across any really effective natural remedy although they have been suggested.

I have seen though, that huge fibroids may need medical attention while smaller fibroids may get shedded along with your menses.

I drink at least a cup of green tea a day because it supposedly has potent antioxidants which can work at keeping cancer at bay so I'm happy to hear from @AngelaMc that it can also inhibit fibroid cells.

I hope that this post won't be taken as a plug yet again for 'organic apple cider vinegar with the mother' but since a member had asked, I'd like to share my personal experience with it. I've always had prolonged and heavy periods because of hormonal imbalance and fibroids. I read some articles that ACV can help prevent or shrink fibroids and the claims seem believable. When I started drinking it, the heavy periods had eased up and I also lost some weight. I guess it does have some benefits.

Greetings,

I like to write about scientifically proven natural remedies. Misszerable may be on to something by taking green tea. There was a study done where 800mg of green tea extract (45% EGCG) helped with uterine fibroids. Granted, it is only one study, but it may be worth a shot to try green tea. If you can spare the time/expense, going to a Chinese medicine practitioner may help as well.

Take care,
Jonathan
