Hello friends.
Which movies did you really like that got a bad rating?

For me personally
Big trouble in little China
The vanishing on 7th Street
Pulse from 2005
Can't hardly wait "my personal favorite"

these are on my top 20 movie favorite list.

Fun topic..

I liked '2 Fast 2 Furious', which I think was dissed by critics.. and was considered one of the worse of the Fast sequels.
I liked 'Batman & Robin', another unpopular sequel.
And I really liked 'Jennifer 8', from the early 90s. I don't remember if was poorly reviewed. But it was like a fake Silence of the Lambs, that never got much praise/attention.

I love The Exorcist part 3, I also love a movie called Clifford with Martin Short. Both have bad ratings and I can’t understand it.

Ferngully: The Last Rainforest, a lot of people seem to hate this movie because of its “lack of concept”, but I don’t really care.

Right now my favorite movie is spirited I think it's getting a lot of mixed reveiws giving it a 6.5 online but, I would rather give it an 8.5 from a storytelling stand point and, more over a musical standpoint the musical numbers are just so good well the main ones of course and, how they handle the ghosts point of view is just clever as well just an overall fun christmas movie

Cool. I might want to see this movie sometime for the holiday season. Thanks for suggesting it.

At a certain point in time I think Hollywood turned on Nicholas Cage. No idea if he done something to piss people off. Every film he was in after that got bad press. Granted he followed this by accepting a lot of bad offers to be in poor films. But by this point I think people were ignoring him for good films. Because they knew the press / reviews would be bad because of the actor. Ghost Rider and Lord of War were not bad films. They got bad reviews by most critics. Both could have been been bigger films. With Cage in the lead role both films were doomed really. Lumped in there with a lot of other average films. Then came a string of flops. Somebody suggested Ghost rider 2. Very bad idea. This time set in Germany., The follow up was just junk. Easy pay day for Cage. I don't think he really cared what films he was in at this stage. More or less a Hollywood outcast by now.
