Does anyone know if aching legs are associated with anxiety? This is a new symptom I've had for the past week.

Thanks for responding! Yet another day with my legs aching off and on throughout the day. I took a tylenol this afternoon and took my 3 boys trick or treating. I had a relaxing time with them and forgot about my pain. Just trying to stay present and positive for my kids. I hope you're doing well...

Aching legs could be anything really. From too much exercise to back problem. It might be worth having it checked out by your doctor if it continues.

Chronic pain is a symptom of chronic anxiety. Elongated Stress does a tremendous number to your body. Like Rinka said it could be anything but the fact it comes and goes should be a relief to you.

Well I experience tense muscles whiCH leads to muscle tiredness, because of anxiety. I do have a friend who gets body aches from stress, so it can be related to anxiety I think.

Thanks. That gives me some relief. I have a physical on Monday morning and I'm terrified to have lab tests done in fear of something might be wrong. I feel so ridiculous putting myself through all this worrying. I go through this every year just before having a physical and mammogram. Hope everyone is having a good day...

Let us know how you are getting on today, I’m sure it’s going to be alright. Being more anxious before such a thing is normal but at least you are getting it done yearly. It means that god forbid, if they find anything, they will find it early. Treatment is easier and quicker by then.

I had my dr. appt this morning and all is well! She knows about my health anxiety and asked how I was feeling. I told her about my aching legs and she said that it was definitely from anxiety. That gives me some relief, however, my legs are still aching and twitching. I know that it takes time for your body to calm down...so I'll just have to do the work in getting my mind right and the body will follow. Chat soon...

Wow I have been having bad leg and lower back fatigue the past few weeks, this follows 3 months of extreme ALS fear ended with clear EMG and a change of Psych meds and now I wake up with mild flu feeling aches. Taking Luvox, trazodone, and Valium.

Hoping it’s all anxiety or medication related, I’m already wondering what could be going on that’s causing it. Had abdominal CT scan and colonoscopy a year ago that was clear, but my mind is wondering.
