I forgot about this until literally just now but my endocrinologist did that once. Called me on a Saturday to tell me my biopsy was fine. Obviously I appreciated it after the fact but in the moment I've never panicked quite so hard so fast! This is a new doctor for me so I have no idea if he'll do that, but I'm doubtful, since he has a tendency to forget to call me back in general.

It also makes me nervous that the imaging center was supposed to take a week, but sent the results to my referring doctor the day after. But don't radiologists usually write when things look alarming? I don't know. Hopefully I'll hear back soon.

No, not always. I had an ultrasound on my thyroid and they said it would take at least a week and then my doctor got the results right away. I was also very worried, like you. Kept questioning why so quick.

Saw my doctor and he thinks it's probably weight gain related, which is the opposite of what my GYN said but I think the GP likely knows what he's saying. So we'll see how it goes.

Hey there! I wanted to chime in as I just had an abdominal ultrasound at the request of my doctor. My results came back honestly just like yours. Fatty liver (Enlarged) and Mildly Enlarged Spleen. Doctor said to lay off fried food and keep losing weight. He saw nothing of note or worry on there. Apparently a lot of enlarged livers lead to enlarged spleen because they sit so close to each other, and the liver does a lot of the spleens job for it.

My wife a Nurse looked at my report too, and jokingly said "Spleen Enlargment, eh you don't need it anyways" lol

Yeah, my GP explained that to me too, so hopefully this is one less thing I have to worry about (I mean obviously I need to keep making life changes but that's not worrying, just overwhelming; really wish I could see someone about my binge eating but since mental health is optional when it comes to insurance companies, I gotta figure it out myself I guess). I feel like I could've avoided all of this worry if I'd gone to my GP first, but...what can you do, I guess? It was a GYN problem I went in for and this was just a random finding, so I guess it's just a case of **** happens.

Hello Molly, I dont know if you are interested or how this stuff works but I am honestly in the exact same boat as you. I am more than happy if you want to have a check in each day to hold each other accountable. I have been happily able to lose 30 lbs since March in my weight loss journey and really love having people to check in with.

I suffer from binge eating or did and would be happy to explain how I helped myself with that! I dont know if these chats have a personal message aspect but I am sure we could work something out?

I know I am not a doctor or therapist but I bet we could bounce ideas off each other?
