Hello: I will try to keep this as short as possible. I have been suffering with health anxiety since 2009 - came out of no where. I am currently going through what I call my 3rd episode since 2009. This bout started last year with a cold and I decided was a good time to quit smoking. My congestion was very bad and between that and the not smoking I believe sent me into the spiral I am in. I became what my dr. described as OCD over my nose symptoms which began in Jan. 2024 and lasted until June 2024. Symptoms disappeared following my check up with my ENT and a ct scan of my sinuses which all came back clear. Then in late August of 2024 I started to get low abdominal discomfort. I thought I had a UTI which it wasn't. Fast forward to today, I still have the low right abdominal pain everyday, it seems to be in the area of the right ovary. I have had blood work, 2 transvaginal ultrasounds, abdominal ultrasound and a abdominal and pelvic ct scan which came back clear. I have also had the FIT test which was negative. I go for a colonoscopy on Monday as well. All I can do all day is think of my symptoms and how I am feeling. Could this pain all be in my head or is my anxiety actually causing all this pain? Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Abdominal pain is common. With and without anxiety.
Do you eat well and have regular bowel movements? It may be gas etc.

I’m sorry you are experiencing this. If the colonoscopy is negative then maybe read up on somatic disorders. Some Anxiety makes us overly sensitive.
Best of luck. Health anxiety is hard

I get pains in that area. Do you have any lower back/hip pain? My pain is because one of my hips is out and it makes one leg longer than the other. I get pain in my groin area, in my side front and back sometimes
