I'm worried about WWIII being the October surprise. I can't believe they are thinking about approving Ukraine being able to strike deep into Russia?

It is scary actually. Where’s JFK when you need him.

If we learned one thing about Russia it is they have not got what they like to pretend they have got. They have Iran sending them missiles now. If they could have wiped the Ukraine out, they would have done so before now. They have struggled in what most people thought was going to be an easy war for them.

'What ifs' and the 'OMG's' are so common in anxiety. GAD will fasten on to any negative thought and blow it up out of al proportion. This up and down feeling is what I call the 'YO,YO' effect. Up one day down the next or even from hour to hour. As with all things in anxiety it is a greatly exaggerated feeling that so called 'normal' people get. Everyone has good and bad days and looking for reasons is often useless. But we may be able to discern 'triggers' and see why we are so afarid of them. If we know something makes us anxious try and face it head on. If we run away in fear we will only have to come back again and face it. At the same time accept it without adding more fear . We stoke the fire of anxiety by being afraid of how we feel. The old saying is true. 'We have nothing to fear but fear itself.' No one wants to feel the way you do, but fighting or struggling with 'IT' will only make it worse. Calm acceptance (at least as calm as possible) will gradually slow down the fear. You can't do a thing about the International situation, but you can do a lot with your reaction to it.
