You too, friend. I hope you have a nice peaceful night, dreaming of spring....The knee will get there, yes. Haven't started PT yet, and some of the pain and swelling came back today after a couple of better days. I have some lovely new bruising spreading down my calf as well. Muscles are like jelly, which is bizarre but kind of interesting. I'm trying to have a sense of humor about my rainbow-colored jelly leg in general. :)

Today was just that day where I have no sense of humor, lost patience with my kid, fussed at the husband. Just a great day. Tomorrow I get a re-do.
Well I will pray for a better day for both of us. And a sense of humor. I could use one too. lol Bed time is right around the corner. Have a good night.

Oh yeah. I've had ibs for years.now...been told by g.i specialist and primary care anxiety is main cause for this condition. Since I've been on anxiety meds this past year seen a reduction in ibs symptoms

In response to your email I do not take anything specific for ibs except the anxiety meds. I am careful with what I eat to avoid eating foods that seem to make it worse.

Hi Richard G - I'm just curious...what kinds of foods make it worse for you? I've been trying to do some "elimination diet" stuff to figure out what triggers the upset stomach more for me. I'm just never quite sure what the culprit is. Raw onions are the only thing that I've absolutely decided to never eat again. lol Are there things that make IBS worse in general for most people?

Hi
For me it seems to be "gas foods" such as chili beans, cabbage, sweet potatoes (which I love!) I try not to eat trail mix later in the evening....that seemed to cause an increase. Overall though just getting back on lexapro (which is one of many anti-anxiety meds) has helped by reducing .y overall anxiety level.
