I trapped baby raccoons in the attic

I saw a coon running away this afternoon - the one I heard in my attic. So I knew she was away and decided to nail a board over the vent she had pried open to get in. But by midnight I head them squealing and heard her trying to pry the board off. I've gone outside with a flashlight and seen her. CRAP.

It's 2 am now and I'm not going up on the roof this late. A couple of years ago a sliced my fingers open up there battling with a coon who was trying to get in. Hopefully they can hold out until morning. I will open it up and hope mommy moves them somewhere safer.

She got them out. I hope that taught her a lesson and she won't be back.

Pest inspector is required.

I'm not paying some guy hundreds of dollars. I just have to keep that vent plugged. I think I know how they climb up there and I put a stainless steel flashing on the corner of the house where I think they climb.

Thanks for finally replying to my thread. We have lots of coons in my area. People often get them in their attics.
