A couple of Fridays ago, I injured my left wrist. I had a fall that caused it.
A few days later, my wrist was still hurting me. Not super-painfully, but still. The pain I did have wasn't going away. So I decided to see a nurse practitioner at a nearby community health center.
They took some x-rays. And it came back negative...no broken bones or anything like that.
That's good news for me!
I won't need surgery. And I won't need to take any medication for it. Instead, the NP told me that the pain should go away within a month.
